Best Lords of the Fallen Mods

Check out the best Lords of the Fallen mods.

Lords of the Fallen 2023, like many other Soulslikes, has a Nexus Mod community where you can download all sorts of tweaks. For example, you can start the game with all classes unlocked or get shader mods and quality-of-life improvements. Here are the best Lords of the Fallen Mods.

What Are the Best Lords of the Fallen Mods

LotF Fixes and Improvements

The LotF Fixes and Improvements mod by xowny is a powerhouse of QoL tweaks for the game. It expedites loading screens, brings better optimization and performance, enhances level loading and memory management, etc. Each tweak provides a wide range of technical benefits reducing latency and improving GPU and CPU performance. There’s even some audio processing optimizations for better sound. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this mod.

Unlockable Classes & All Items Starter

This entry has two save-tweaking mods that can start you off with dozens of neat features already unlocked. If this sounds fun, the first mod is Unlockable Classes by Excess999 which allows you to access all classes at the start of the game. You’ll even have hidden classes like Dark Crusader, Radiant Purifier, or Putrid Child unlocked right away.

Furthermore, the second mod created by VinnyMGGA is the All Items Starter pack which allows you to access all items in the game from the start. This includes all consumables, weapons, shields, armor, spells, etc. I just wouldn’t use features like the Developer Sword in online PVP or you’re risking a ban.

Simple Realistic 3D For LotF 2023

Up next we have the Simple Realistic 3D mod by crubino for Lords of the Fallen. This mod improves the shaders for the game making it look much better. Furthermore, you’ll get better global lighting, a 3D stereoscopic mode, better details, and post-processing effects.

Free Jump

Skacikpl’s Free Jump mod is one of my favorite improvements for base Lords of the Fallen gameplay and movement. Essentially, the mod introduces a similar jumping mechanic from Elden Ring. This means that you won’t have to sprint first before jumping and can jump at will.

Furthermore, jump height and distance are based on your speed so running gives you the most distance covered. One important note is that you don’t run this mod with EAC enabled and UE4SS injected as you’ll be risking a ban. You can read more about this on the mod page but it’s best used in offline play.

Immersive HUD

Another mod by skacikpl, Immersive HUD, is a simple and effective immersion mod that hides your HUD when exploring. It pops back up right as you start combat. Overall, it’s up to personal preference, but I enjoy this feature, which is present in most Soulsborn games and Elden Ring. It also helps with screenshots. That said, similarly to with the Free Jump mod, under no circumstances should you run this mod with EAC enabled, or you’re risking getting banned. It’s best to use it in offline play.

That’s it for my best Lords of the Fallen mods. For more Lords of the Fallen guides, check out the top 15 best weapons in the game.
