You can achieve multiple different endings in Black Myth: Wukong, the normal ending, and the true ending. You must beat the boss in the chapter 3 secret area to get the true ending. However, you must complete several requirements before you can do that. Here’s how to access the secret area of Black Myth Wukong chapter 3 to see the game’s true ending and earn the Meet the Match trophy!

How to Get the True Ending in Black Myth Wukong

Here are the requirements you must complete before you can access the Black Myth Wukong Chapter 3 secret area to achieve the true ending:

• Chapter 1 Secret Area
• Chapter 2 Secret Area
• Chapter 4 Secret Area
• Chapter 5 Secret Area
• Chapter 3 Treasure Hunter Quest Chain

After completing the above requirements, you can access the secret area in Chapter 3, Mount Mei. To reach Mount Mei, you’ll want to head back to Chapter 3, then go to the Snow-Veiled Trail shrine in the Pagoda Realm. From the shrine, you’ll want to head left and take the snowy path that leads to the wooden bridge. After that, proceed using the path until you find a massive gate. Use the gate to enter into the area called The Great Pagoda.

Once there, you must talk to the NPC upstairs to trigger a cutscene that will automatically transport you to Mount Mei. However, if that NPC isn’t there, you are missing one of the above requirements. Once there, follow the path up the mountain until you reach the Mount Mei shrine. Finally, beat the boss in this location to become eligible to see Black Myth: Wukong’s true ending.
