Unlocking Thief
You unlock the Thief in Chapter 1. A quest in Ancheim will lead to Harena Ruins where you must defeat The Jackal. A Spell Fencer named Khint will join the fight.
- During the fight, The Jackal will steal a Potion and use it throughout the fight.
- Ignore Khint because he leaves once The Jackal’s health gets low.
- Default for a few turns, then use up Braves to deal a lot of damage at once. Eventually you will overpower his healing.
Equipment Guide
Thieves have S aptitude for Daggers and A for Bows. They have E aptitude for armor.
Armor
- Agility is key. Get as much agility as you can on all armor or accessories.
Weapons
- Don’t be fooled, Bows are actually better to use for Thief than Daggers until you get Godspeed Strike at level 9.
- When you have Godspeed Strike, equip Daggers that give you an Agility increase for maximum damage.
Ability List
The Specialty for Thieves is Master Thief.
- Master Thief – Doubles the success rate of your stealing abilities. This does not stack with items that have a similar effect.

- This ability is amazingly strong, but takes 2 BP to use. Don’t use if you don’t have enough BP to act next turn unless you really need to hit an enemy with it.

Combat Tips
- Thieves have a good chance to steal items. After getting Rob Blind and Shake Down, you can steal a lot at once.
- Shake Down uses an extra BP, so make sure you have enough before using. You can make a lot of money this way from selling what you steal.
- Their increased Speed makes Godspeed Strike hit very hard, so they have decent attack as well.
