Call of Duty MW2: Best RPK Loadout in Warzone

If you're intending on using the RPK in Call of Duty MW2: Warzone, this is the best loadout to use.

The RPK is the perfect balance between a light machine gun and the traditional assault rifle in Warzone. It provides both stopping power and mobility. But how do you get the most out of this incredibly versatile weapon? Here’s the best RPK loadout in Warzone.

Is the RPK Still Good in Warzone?

The first thing we need to address is if the RPK is still any good in Warzone. The answer is yes. Loaded with 75 rounds of high-powered ammunition and having tons of customizable options, the RPK can be used to deadly effect in Warzone.

When putting together a loadout for the RPK in Warzone, ease of access is the name of the game. Even though the RPK resembles a traditional AR with a drum magazine on it, the gun is still a Light Machine Gun (LMG). And I can confirm one thing about it: it’s going to kick like nobody’s business when firing.

To keep this LMG from kicking so hard and to improve its accuracy, we need to reduce recoil and improve handling. Here’s a suitable loadout for the RPK I use in Warzone that will reduce recoil and give the gun more stability:

  • Muzzle: TY-LR8
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
  • Optic: User choice
  • Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity

Breaking Down the Best RPK Build

The TY-LR8 muzzle and FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel in tandem will provide great boosts to recoil and stability. In combination with the Demo-X2 rear grip, these tools should reduce recoil on the RPK by 20%. Using 7.62 High Velocity ammunition is somewhat the secret sauce to this loadout, as it gives the weapon much more stopping power from range. I don’t hunt without it. While there will still be some drawbacks when compared to an assault rifle or submachine gun, these benefits at least make the gun viable.

In terms of the optics, it’s honestly dealer’s choice in that regard. Some may prefer a more rangy scope like the Aim Op-V4 that will provide more accuracy from a distance, while others will settle on something as simple as a red dot for close-quarters use. When choosing your sight, it really all depends on what kind of game you want to play — conservatively sneaking through the map while picking off players from a distance or aggressively going in guns blazing.

Regardless of your choice of approach, few enemies will be any match for your RPK which is not only considered one of the best TTK weapons in the game with an average of 725 milliseconds even from distance, but will now be much more stable when aiming down the sights.
