If you’ve been diving into Call of Duty: Warzone regularly, you’ve more than likely come across several mysterious bunkers. These bunker locations have been locked with seemingly no access, but the recent update this week has rectified that, giving players access to these vaults.
Now, you are able to unravel their secrets and gain access to each of them. Each bunker contains an assortment of chests and goodies to give you an advantage in the coming battle. These vaults also contain another locked door which as of now is inaccessible, but could become available in future updates.
How to Open bunkers in Call of Duty: Warzone
Gather Red Access Key Cards
Unfortunately, getting a red access key card requires a bit of skill and foraging across the map. You’ll need to scrounge through multiple crates across Verdansk in the hopes of scoring one. Players seem to believe that legendary crates have a higher drop rate, but you’re able to receive one from any type of crate.
It’s also worth noting that picking up scavenger missions will highlight specific crates to you and your squad, so it’s worth diving into a few of those too.

Once you’ve gathered a red access key card, simply make your way to the nearest bunker to use it. The key cards aren’t bunker specific, so you can use them on any bunker or vault of your choosing.

Gathering the red access key card is the hardest step, unlocking them is easy in comparison.
Outside of each bunker is a keypad, which up until this point has proven useless. With the red access key card, though, you’ll be able to easily interact with the keypad to unlock the vault and plunder its contents.
