In Core Keeper, Fiber is a vital crafting material used in crafting equipment like Beds, Armor, and Workbenches. However, it can be tricky to know where to get enough of it to craft whatever you need without running out. Here’s our Core Keeper Fiber Farm Guide that discusses the best way I’ve found to obtain more Fiber than you’ll know what to do with!
Where to Find Fiber in Core Keeper
The best way to Farm Fiber in Core Keeper is by killing Larva in the Clay Caves or Larva Hive. Larva has a 6% chance to drop Fiber when slain. However, despite their small drop percentage, they spawn in groups and are a common enemy, so you’ll have more Fiber than you’ll know what to do witth after a short farming run.
However, Larva can be tricky to farm when starting due to spawning in groups. To combat this, I found it is best to wear Bronze Armor for the best protection since you’ll fight groups of Larva. I also found weapons like a Fireball Staff, which kills Larva fast due to burn damage, and an Axe, which provides excellent damage while keeping them at a distance, are the best to use when farming fiber by killing Larva.
However, if you only need a handful of Fiber to craft a piece of equipment but don’t want to farm it, you can salvage equipment to obtain some fiber. You’ll need to build a Salvage and Repair Station to do so. Once built, you can salvage multiple pieces of equipment at once, making it a quick and easy way to get Fiber in Core Keeper.
In addition to farming Larva and Salvaging equipment, here are additional ways to farm Fiber in Core Keeper:
- Plant Grub Kapok Seeds
- Destroy Clay Blocks
- Fishing
- Buying from Bearded Merchant
- Looting from Locked Copper and Iron Chests
Now that you’ve used our Core Keeper Fiber Farm Guide, you’ll have more Fiber than ever, resulting in a vast stockpile ready for crafting when needed. Check out our Core Keeper hub for more guides like How to Get Wool, another important crafting material.
