There are many different game modes in Counter Strike 2. The most popular are Classic Casual and Classic Competitive, where two teams of five battle to either defuse a bomb or rescue hostages. How to Play Surf Servers in CS2
If you’re looking to play Surf Servers in CS2, the process is relatively straightforward. But depending on your internet connection, it could be time-consuming. The process to gaining access to CS:GO Surf Servers in CS2 is as follows:
- Open Steam.
- Go to Library.
- Find Counter Strike 2, right-click it, and select Properties.
- Click on Betas
- Click the dropdown menu next to Beta Participation and select “csgo_demo_viewer – 1.38.7.9”.
After following these steps, CS2 will begin to update on Steam. Expect this update to be around 17GB, so be sure that your PC has space. Once the lengthy update has been completed, CS2 will provide you with three options to choose from once you launch it.
- Play Counter Strike 2.
- Play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (Demo Viewer, 2023).
- Counter Strike 2 Workshop Tools.
To access Surf Servers, select “Play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (Demo Viewer, 2023).” Once you open the game, you’ll be greeted by the old CS:GO menu. From there, click on “Play CS:GO” on the left-hand part of the screen, click the dropdown at the top of the next page, and select “Community Server Browser.” And boom, you’re done!
