The final quest of the “More Important Matters” chapter in Dark and Darker will lead you to find and explore the wolf caves. In this guide, I’ll show you all the wolf cave locations in Dark and Darker, which will allow you to complete the Alchemist’s puzzle of the “Frozen Secrets” quest.

Where Are Wolf Caves in Dark and Darker

There are 2 Wolf Cave locations in Dark and Darker, and both can be found inside the Ice Cavern. You can find the entrance to the Ice Cavern on the first floor of Frost Mountain. Note that this area is primarily infested with skeletons and kobolds, but you may also encounter such enemies as Frost Giant Berserker, Frost Giant Shielder, Wendigo, and Skeleton Champion.

Ice Cavern Wolf Cave 1 Location

I was able to spot the first Wolf Cave in the northwestern part of the Ice Cavern, also known as Path A. Once you reach the central Icicle Cave, move northward and pass through the guardpost, a tunnel, and finally, a spiral path. In the end, you should be able to reach the first Wolf Cave.

Ice Cavern Wolf Cave 2 Location

The second Wolf Cave is located in the central-western part of the Ice Cavern. Here, I’d go in the opposite direction from the central Icicle Cave and into the Cave Swamp. Finally, you’ll be able to reach and explore the second Wolf Cave for clues.

Alchemist’s Frozen Secrets Quest Rewards

Once you find all the clues in both Wolf Caves, you’ll complete the first chapter and receive the following rewards:

  • 50x Unique Gold Coins
  • 2x Common Wolf Pelts
  • 1x Uncommon Frost Amulet
  • 25x EXP
  • 25x Affinity

That’s all I wanted to tell you about both Wolf Cave locations in Dark and Darker. Stay tuned for more Dark and Darker tips and tricks articles right here.
