Dead Space Remake: Does It Have a Photo Mode?

The Dead Space Remake is absolutely gorgeous. But does it have a photo mode?

The Dead Space Remake is an absolutely gorgeous video game. The love and care EA Motive put into their remake of Visceral Games’ 2008 classic is immediately obvious. And having photo mode would help fans capture that in unique ways.

Remakes aren’t just a chance for a visual upgrade. They also allow developers to insert new features that the original game lacked, whether they’re accessibility options, remappable controls, or new features like Photo Mode, which has become a popular addition to AAA games in recent years. So, does the Dead Space Remake have photo mode?

Is there a Photo Mode in the Dead Space Remake? — Answered

Unfortunately, there is no Photo Mode in the Dead Space Remake. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be such a mode in the future. Plenty of games have added Photo Mode after their initial releases via patches, such as God of War Ragnarok. So it’s possible that EA Motive will add one down the line if there’s enough fan demand for one.

So far, however, EA Motive has been quiet about plans for future content for the Dead Space Remake, but that could change if the game performs well.

Fans shouldn’t be too disappointed, however, as the lack of a Photo Mode doesn’t mean fans won’t be able to take screenshots. Both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles allow players to record video and take screenshots at any time, and the process is even easier on PC. You’ll be able to snap some good pics no matter what system you’re playing. Just be careful when you try it; you don’t want to be eaten by Necromorphs.
