What is Descending the Woods?
In Descending the Woods, you manage a farm and work to free animals in the surrounding haunted woods from a curse. This means that farming will be as important as rescuing and taming animals, and you need to factor in the time to explore the woods to find cursed objects. The game is set to release into Early Access on July 12, where the developer plans to continue making improvements and additions for 6-12 months before moving into full release. However, there’s a demo available on Steam if you want to try the game rather than commit to purchasing it.
You’ll be able to choose if you want to play alone or with friends. Looking at the images and trailers, it seems like a mix between 7 Days to Die and The Forest. But I’m sure that it’ll set itself apart by having more of a focus on farming and saving animals. Since it’s not too taxing of a game on your system, you don’t need the best set-up to give it a try.
