As you explore Rhyme City with your trusty partner Pikachu, you’ll run into plenty of people who need your detective skills. Shortly after starting the first case of the game, you’ll come across a Soccer Boy who has no one to play with. In this guide, we’ll go over where to find a partner for the Soccer Boy in Detective Pikachu Returns.
Detective Pikachu Returns: Where to Find a Partner for Soccer Boy
After you start the first case at Dennis’ Mansion, you’ll be able to find a handful of side quests you can take on. If you go to the Fountain Plaza, you’ll find a boy with a soccer ball. Once you talk to him, he’ll tell you that he’s looking for a partner to practice with. You’ll need to find a pokemon that knows how to play soccer.
How to Find a Pokemon That Plays Soccer
To find a partner for the Soccer Boy, you’ll want to head over to Serenity Park, to the right of Dennis’s Mansion. Once you’re at the park, take the first left on the path and go up the stairs. You’ll find a Raboot with a soccer ball by itself. After you talk to the Raboot, bring it back to the Soccer Boy in the Fountain Plaza.
Once you’re back in the plaza, the Soccer Boy will thank you for finding him a partner to practice with and the case will close.
That’s where to find a partner for the Soccer Boy. Just remember that you need to talk to the boy in Fountain Plaza to start the quest. You can find a Raboot to be his partner in Serenity Park by taking the first left up the staircase. For more tips and guides, make sure to check out our other Detective Pikachu Returns guides.
