As you gather resources to build your base and craft tools, you’ll chop down a lot of trees. However, what happens if you cut down everything around your base? Do trees respawn in Palworld? Let’s discuss.
When do Trees Grow Back in Palworld?
Trees do grow back and respawn after an in-game day. So, if you end up chopping down an entire forest, you won’t be left with a barren empty field. Additionally, trees aren’t the only gatherable objects that’ll respawn. Stone and Ore Deposits also respawn after an in-game day. This means you never have to worry about your resources running out in any area.
This surprised me at first. I set up my first base next to a large group of trees and chopped them all down in a day. You need plenty of Wood for crafting structures, your first Workbench, and more. Once it got dark I hopped in bed and slept. When I woke up the next day, my base was full of trees again.
How to Change Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval in Palworld
If that seems too easy for you and want more of a challenge, you can change the respawn rate of gatherable objects. You can choose the Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval before you create a new save file. The default interval is 1, and you can set it anywhere between 0.5 and 3. Each number indicates a day.
So, if you want a tougher challenge you can set gatherable resources to respawn every three days. Unfortunately, there’s no way to completely turn off the respawn. You also can’t change the interval after you make your world. However, if you don’t want trees or rocks to respawn in your base, all you have to do is build a structure where the tree or rock was.
So, if you were wondering: Do trees respawn in Palworld? Yes, they do! Along with Rocks and Ore Deposits. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks, check out our guides hub for topics like how to find and catch Lovander and the best Ore locations.
