When it comes to multiplayer survival crafting games, playing with your friends in your own land is one of the highlights. Revolving around Portals to different realms, does Nightingale have private servers?
Are There Private Servers in Nightingale?
Nightingale is a little different in how it functions since you can travel to various realms. All realms are hosted on Inflexion Games servers and can become your home realm. You can play with friends, other players, or alone in any of these realms.
When loading the game, you don’t choose a server, nor are you given a list of public realms you can join. Instead, your realm will load with any changes you’ve made to it on any available server. If you’re playing in the tutorial areas, everything is private.
As you put in Realm cards to travel somewhere new, you can land in a realm with others if you decide to play in a public server. Otherwise, you’ll end up in a new place to explore solo.
How to Create a Dedicated Server
You don’t need to rent your own third-party server to create a dedicated space for you and your friends to play. To ensure no one else enters your realm, don’t check off Public Realm in the box on the left under your playable cards list when you create it.
If you check off Public Realm, then anyone who uses the same combination of cards as your realm can possibly Portal in. When it’s private, only those you’ve given an Estate Access Card to can play there, even when you’re not in-game.
So yes: there are private servers in Nightingale, and you can set them up like a dedicated server. For more on surviving the realms, such as finding Stone Block, moving Estate Cairns, or how to increase backpack space, head to our guide hub.
