Finally we’re getting a sequel to Capcom’s famed action RPG. Back when the first DD came out, nobody could have predicted it would get a sequel, much less one with a PC release on launch. Here are the Dragon’s Dogma 2 system requirements.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Minimum and Recommended System Requirements
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is running on Unreal Engine 5, which provides some amazing lighting and texture options not possible on Unreal Engine 4. It also requires higher specs than UE4. Luckily, Arisen, you don’t need an insanely powerful rig to take on DD2, as it’s fairly light on the requirements compared to some other AAA titles.
At the time of writing, the amount of storage space Dragon’s Dogma 2 will take up hasn’t been revealed. We have to assume it’s at least 50 GB, at least until Capcom gives official word on the game’s full size. We also don’t know whether it’ll require an SSD like many other larger titles these days.
It’s worth noting that it appears Dragon’s Dogma 2 will require an internet connection to play. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to players of the first game, due to the pawn system that allows players to upload as well as summon AI pawns to join them on their travels as non-controllable battle companions.
