In past football titles from EA Sports, players have felt rather derivative in terms of their abilities. Sure, the likes of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo have stood out among the pack, but other, far less talented players have been viable due to meta abilities. This hasn’t changed in EA FC 24. However, one way the game makes players feel special is through new systems like PlayStyles and PlayStyles+. Replacing abilities in past titles, this system represents certain skills a footballer may excel at. Here, we explain PlayStyles+ in EA FC 24.

PlayStyles+ in EA FC 24 Explained

Many players will have PlayStyles in EA FC 24. This means they excel at a certain skill or aspect of the game. For instance, if a player is really good in the air, they probably have the Aerial PlayStyle, which provides a player a higher success rate in the air and an improved vertical.

However, if a player has a PlayStyles+ Aerial, then their heading accuracy and defensive capabilities in the air are even more pronounced and are reserved for the absolute best in the air, such as Virgil van Dijk. EA FC 24 PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ are divided into categories with many different skills for each one. They are as follows.

When it comes to base versions of players, each PlayStyle and PlayStyle+ is locked in. However, Clubs players can add them to their character after reaching Level 25, and within Ultimate Team, a PlayStyle+ can be added to a player through Evolutions.
