Every Ending and How to Get Them in Amanda the Adventurer

Many endings in Amanda the Adventurer are hidden, here's how to find them!

It’s not uncommon for games to have multiple endings, and this seems especially true in the horror genre. One particular game that took over the indie horror scene boasts five endings that build off each other. That means you won’t have to replay the game multiple times, which is a winner in my eyes. So, I’ve compiled a thorough breakdown of each ending in Amanda the Adventurer and how you can get it for yourself to save you a bit of time.

Amanda the Adventurer approaches its endings a bit differently. Instead of needing to play the game multiple times to see each ending, they build off each other. So, you only need to play the game once, and then you unlock the additional endings by completing specific tasks that reward you with lore tapes for a total of five tapes.

After watching the “In the Kitchen” tape, you’ll find a toy oven appeared behind you. First, you need to put a peach in the oven at 425 for 30 minutes. You’ll find the peach hiding in the attic spot where the oven used to be. After the peach is done, you have to follow the apple pie recipe from the kitchen video. That means placing the apple in the oven at 425 for 40 minutes. When the time is up, the “In Your Neighborhood” tape replaces the apple.

While watching this tape, pay attention to the bolded storefront letters behind Amanda, which are C, B, and F. When the video ends, a toy piano appears on the table. If you play C, B, and F in that order, you receive the tape “Oh No! Accidents!”

During this tape, you have to answer with “nobody” when Amanda asks who can help Wooly. Then, set the clock on the table to 3:45, set the wall clock to 6:20, and set the digital clock to 10:50 PM. When that’s done, move the clock hand from the bulletin board to the grandfather clock and set it to 5:15. This gets you the “Everything Rots” tape and a safe code (826), which gives you the first ending: “A Gruesome End.” In this ending, the Entity bursts into the attic and kills you, making it a bad ending.

Start a new playthrough. The safe that was cardboard last time is real this time, so enter 826 to open it. You find a pause button inside and a paper about symbols on the bulletin board. Attach the pause button to the TV so you can use it on the tapes you play. Start by playing “In the Kitchen” again.

When the tape reaches the section with Amanda in the kitchen and a drawing of fire on the fridge, hit pause and turn the oven’s temperature as high as possible. Return to the TV and continue the tape, which ends with Amanda and Wooly screaming because the oven is now on fire. I hope that made you hungry, because now we’re going to make a meat pie using what I can only assume are well-aged attic ingredients.

Making Meat Pie Instead of Apple or Peach Pie

First, grab the mushroom from the leaky pipe. Next, take the cheese next to the oven and put it on the mouse trap in the corner to get the meat for your pie. Finally, take the pot with a moon symbol on it and put it under the dripping water to grow a potato. With that, you have all the ingredients needed for a pie that no human should ever consume. But put the meat, mushroom, and potato into a pan and toss it in the oven at 525 for 50 minutes. This gives you the “In Your Neighborhood” tape.

Playing the letters on the banner spelling “FACADE” on the piano gives you another lore tape. But for the current tape, you get a coloring book that appears on the table after addressing Amanda’s card to Wooly at the end of the episode. Next, open the coloring book and color in the 24-hour store, the candy store, and the butcher shop in that order. Afterwards, you get the code for the toolbox (GUTS), which contains scissors and the “What Is A Family?” tape.

In this tape, pause every time there’s a weather warning and spin the little weather toy on the table. Eventually, Amanda asks what a daddy chicken is called, and answering anything other than “Rooster” results in a tornado warning. Next, click on the Snakes and Spiders sign twice when Amanda wants to see the sheep to get the flood warning.

Finish the tape and agree to help find the kitten. To get another lore tape, replay the tape and answer “Sam” instead of “Rooster” for what a daddy chicken is called. Whether you grab the lore tape or not, watch “Everything Rots” again. You can’t do anything here, and you get sucked into the TV and turned into a meat slab at the butcher shop. This completes the “A Fateful End” ending, where Riley becomes part of the cartoon, and ends up killed and sold as meat.

“We Can Share” Ending Tape (Endings 3 and 4)

Starting over again, get to the second episode and pause in the 24-hour store when it shows the price of a Blabbot. Then, open the toolbox again and use the scissors to cut off the head of the doll on the couch. Inside, you find batteries that you use to power-up the Blabbot in the attic. Type 1-5-0-3-2-5 into the toy, then go back to the TV and end the episode for another code to give Blabbot. After, type in 0-8-1-8-2-1 and set the oven to 325 for 30 minutes to get a card and candle.

The card has another code for Blabbot, so enter 4-4-2-1-3-0. After getting a riddle from Blabbot, play these notes on the piano: C-C-D-C-F-E for a third candle. Adding all the candles to the cake gives you the “Oh No! Accidents!” tape. Watching it spawns another tape on the table that takes you to the attic door for yet another tape. This one gives you the code for the wardrobe (2862), which then gives you a final code for Blabbot of 4-0-1-2-5-8. After entering it, fill a bucket with water and throw it on Blabbot for the key in his chest.

Now, unlock the chest by the door with the key for the “We Can Share” tape. Endings 3 and 4 split off from the final decision from this tape. For the ending titled “The End,” keep saying yes when Amanda asks to tell you a secret. The TV freaks out, at which point you need to throw a brick at it and break it. In this ending, Riley never solves the mystery of Amanda, but she gets to live. For the ending titled “A Hollow End,” tell Amanda no instead, and she kicks you out of the attic.

The End?

Branching off from “The End,” start a new playthrough and put the flower pot with “21” on it under the dripping water. When it grows a flower, give it to the doll on the couch and follow her instructions for the final lore tape. Once you have all five lore tapes, follow the same path as “The End.” However, when you break the TV this time, you find somebody standing behind you before the game ends, leaving you to wonder who it was and what they wanted.

And that’s every ending and how to get them in Amanda the Adventurer. Like many indie horror games, it’s full of secrets and small details for you to discover. From here, check out more content on our culture hub like the demonic reference hiding in plain sight in Amanda the Adventurer.
