A second Exoprimal Open Beta is imminent. Capcom will be giving players a crack at their team-based, open-world dino-fighting game that definitely isn’t Dino Crisis this week. Beta 2 will run from Thursday, June 15 at 8:00 p.m. EST – Sunday, June 18 at 7:59 p.m. EST across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam. Here’s how to sign up for the second Exoprimal Open Beta and what you can expect.
What’s in the Exoprimal Open Beta Test 2?
The Exoprimal Open Beta Test 2 will have quite a bit to do. You’ll be able to see the opening of Exoprimal‘s story and participate in several story-related missions. There will also be seven 10-player co-op missions for you to play. You’ll also be able to try your hand at the Dino Survival mode and practice your skill’s in Exoprimal‘s tutorial and training modes.
Is the Exoprimal Open Beta Cross-Platform?
Yes, the Exoprimal Open Beta 2, like the full game, is cross-platform. If your friend is on Xbox and you’re on PlayStation, you’ll be able to play together.
Does Open Beta Progress Carry Over to the Full Game?
Progress from Open Beta 2 will not carry over to the full game, but players who participate will be awarded the Exosuit Skin: Flash (Zephyr).
What Exosuits and Rigs Will be in the Second Exoprimal Beta?
The following Exosuits will be available:

How to Sign Up for the Exoprimal Open Beta 2
The first thing you’ll need to do to participate in the Exoprimal Open Beta 2 is create a Capcom ID. If you already have one, you can skip this step. If you don’t, here’s how:
- Go to this Capcom ID website.
- Click “Login” on the upper right side of the screen.
- Click “Sign Up.”
- Follow the directions to make your account.
Once you’ve got a Capcom ID, you’ll need to link your platform of choice — Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation. Here’s how:
- Login to your account and scroll down to “external account links.”
- Choose your platform and click “Link.”
- Follow the instructions to link your accounts.
Once that’s done, you’re good to go. There’s no download for the Exoprimal Open Beta 2 yet, but it will probably appear on Steam, PSN, and Xbox Live soon. When it does, we’ll update this article. Exoprimal will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on July 14th.
