Weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 always have us performing some sort of shenanigans. And this week is no different. You’ll need to fall 5 stories without taking damage to gain the 12,000 XP reward. It might sound like an impossible feat, but we’ve found a few ways that will help you complete the challenge quickly. Here’s how to take a leap of faith and walk away damage-free.
How to Fall 5 Stories Without Damage in Fortnite
Mega City Air Vents
There are a few methods for tackling this quest, but I found the quickest way to fall 5 stories without taking damage is to head to Mega City and simply land near an air vent. Doing so lets you complete the quest seconds into a match. Easy peasy.
You’ll need to find an air vent on the top of a building and jump onto it. You’ll receive a shield in the process, and then have to jump off the building with the shield intact to complete the quest.
Ascending Ziplines
You can also complete this quest by jumping off of an ascending zipline near Loot Island. This spawns mid-match. You can also attempt to complete the challenge by using various ziplines across the map. To ensure this method works, jump off before losing the shield bonus you gain while riding a zipline.
Kinetic Blades
Kinetic Blades have been around for a while now and can be easily found at Bamboo Circle northwest of Mega City. Our screenshot of my in-game map above has the location marked. Once you have the weapon, you can head to Mega City and launch yourself off of a high building using the dash-attack ability.
Force Jump
For this method, you’ll need to locate Darth Maul, Obi-Wan, or Anakin when they spawn mid-match to enter a Rift and learn Force abilities. Once you exit the rift, you’ll have the Force jump ability and a lightsaber equipped. Make sure your sprint bar is charged for the ability to work. To fall 5 stories without taking damage, equip your lightsaber and force jump off of a high point.
