Best Weapons and Best Artifacts for Baizhu

Baizhu’s best weapon: Prototype Amber

There are plenty of good reasons why we consider the Prototype Amber as the best weapon for Baizhu in Genshin Impact. For one thing, it’s a free-to-play option, which means you can just get it crafted via the Blacksmith if you have the materials. Also, its Gilding perk causes it to regenerate energy and HP after casting an elemental burst.

However, the main reason is because of its sub-stat: HP%. At level 90, the wielder will gain 41.3% HP, which is amazing. That’s due to the fact that Baizhu’s healing scales from his max HP stat. Moreover, one of his talents increases the damage of teammate Dendro-related reactions based on his HP.

Don’t Bother Getting This Weapon: Jadefall’s Splendor

Generally speaking, most 5-star characters with an associated weapon banner will often have that armament as the best-in-slot option. Sadly, this is not the case for Baizhu. True, it does have HP% as a sub-stat, as well as energy restoration and additional elemental damage based on HP. However, you’ll have to risk pulls and spend extra cash for it. When you have Prototype Amber as a free-to-play option, that functions in a similar manner, it’s hard to recommend an expensive 5-star gacha.

Baizhu’s Best Artifact Set: 4-piece Deepwood Memories

We consider the 4-piece Deepwood Memories as the best artifact set for Baizhu in Genshin Impact. The Dendro damage bonus is negligible. But, we’re mostly looking at the 30% Dendro resistance shredding effect. Even if there are other Dendro characters in the party, Baizhu should be the one wearing this as he’s the support character.

Baizhu Optional Artifact Set: Tenacity of the Millelith / Vourukasha’s Glow or Ocean-Hued Clam

You may also try the 2-piece combination of Tenacity of the Millelith and Vourukasha’s Glow. Both grant +20% HP (so +40% HP in total). With these two, you’ll have more HP to improve Baizhu’s healing. A third option is the 4-piece Ocean-Hued Clam set, as it adds extra DPS based on healing throughput. Unfortunately, due to the slower healing instances of Baizhu’s kit, it’s not fully maximized.

Artifact Sub-stats

If you’re simply looking at Baizhu in a support role, then you can’t go wrong with stacking HP% for the goblet, sands, and circlet. His damage isn’t particularly spectacular, so you should just focus on his capabilities to keep teammates alive. Alternatively, you can go with energy recharge + HP% + HP%, assuming you still have problems with regaining energy for your burst.
