Brewing Developments is an event added as part of the Genshin Impact version 3.6 update. During the event, you’ll battle dozens of foes and complete challenges to reach a high score and gain rewards. If you’re wondering how to complete it, this guide tells you how to access it, increase the score multiplier, use buffs, and more.
How to Complete Brewing Developments in Genshin Impact
To start the Genshin Impact Brewing Developments event, simply open the event panel and click the “Go to Quest” button to track the related quest on your map. Head to the location, which is south of the Ruins of Dahri in Sumeru, and you’ll find an NPC and a domain portal. Talk to the NPC, and you’ll be able to partake in the challenges.
Brewing Developments Enemies, Buffs, and Rewards
When you do a Brewing Developments challenge, you can set the difficulty to increase the score multiplier. From there, you’ll want to build a party of four characters; there are some trial characters that will be made available, too, just in case you don’t have them yet or you haven’t leveled them.
Your goal in this event is to clear as many enemies as possible within each round’s time limit (with a maximum of three rounds per challenge). Once you’re done with all the encounters, you’ll see your high score.
You can assign the same characters in succeeding rounds, even though the types of enemies might be different.
- For instance, Round 1 of the Thundergrass Resonance challenge has Fungi mobs, whereas Round 2 and Round 3 have Hilichurls/Mitachurls and Eremites/Treasure Hoarders, respectively.
Another mechanic in this challenge is the Shock-Boiling Device. There are four types of buffs per round, and some will become active at 20-second intervals.
- For example, the first round has different buffs that increase Dendro damage, Electro damage, energy recharge, and resistance shredding when you trigger Quicken, Aggravate, or Spread.
The only downside is that these buffs tend to get activated at random. As such, we suggest going with an ideal team that you’re comfortable with, as opposed to building a squad based on the random buffs you might get.
In any case, the challenges tend to have a high score threshold of 4,000 points. If you open the event panel, you’ll be able to claim rewards, such as Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ores, and Sumeru talent booklets.
But that’s how you complete Genshin Impact Brewing Developments event challenges. Additional encounters will be unlocked in the coming days but, for now, you can take a look at our guides hub for more on the 3.6 update.
