500kg Bomb Input in Helldivers 2 Explained

The Eagle 500kg Bomb is a Stratagem with an input of Up, Right, Down, Down, Down. The input will first call down a marker, and then after a few seconds, the bomb will drop as well. I would move away from the marker as soon as possible since the bomb deals incredibly high damage in a large AOE. The bomb will always come at a straight, almost 45-degree angle in the direction where you throw the bomb marker. More tips are below.

How to Get 500kg Bomb in Helldivers 2

I unlocked the Eagle 500kg bomb in Helldivers 2 through the Stratagem tab. That said, you will have to reach Level 15 to be able to purchase it, though. The cost is 10,000 Requisition slips so some mission and side objective grinding is required. Alternatively, as you’re reaching Level 14, I would save up the slips so that you can purchase the bomb as soon as you hit Level 15.

How to Use 500kg Bomb in Helldivers 2

First off, I would say this is one of my favorite Stratagems in the game just because of how effective it is for taking out elite enemies. I highly recommend it against bugs since it can take down a Bile Titan in a single hit. When you’re ready to use the bomb and are about to input the combination, make sure you’re facing the way you want to throw the marker.

As soon as you throw the marker, head backward, and the actual bomb will drop and explode after about 5 seconds. I highly recommend avoiding elevation points so you don’t accidentally blow yourself up. That’s because the bomb comes in the exact direction you throw it under a 45-degree angle. If you’re standing on a highly elevated point and blocking the way to the marker, the bomb just might hit you and kill you. It happened to my friends and me more than once, so trust me when I say that it’s a really easy thing to forget about.
