If you’re a good witch or wizard, you may be wondering if you can save Sebastian Sallows’ twin sister, Anne, in Hogwarts Legacy. Sebastian’s relationship questline revolves around trying to find a cure for Anne, who is cursed and has no known way of dispelling the hex. Warning: heavy spoilers follow below.
Can You Save Anne Sallow in Hogwarts Legacy? Answered
As you progress Sebastian’s questline, it becomes clear that the curse used on Anne is not a typical one. No doctor at St. Mungo’s or Auror is able to remove it. While Sebastian spirals deeper into the Dark Arts, it doesn’t seem clear whether that will cure Anne or not.
You experience Sebastian’s madness firsthand as he raises Inferni in the crypt but doesn’t have the power to heal Anne. Because of his behavior, Uncle Solomon shows up in an effort to stop him. Soon after, Anne disappears. We only have word of her from Simon, as well as a note she leaves at her former home. There is no mention of where she relocated.
In the endgame, Rookwood confronts you outside of Olivander’s. This confrontation confirms he was the one who cursed Anne, not the goblins. While that’s all good information, you have to kill him to escape from captivity. With his death goes the name of the curse and how to remove it. Even if Anne Sallow were to be located, there is no way to cure her.
At the end of Hogwarts Legacy, Anne is still alive, her whereabouts unknown. She’s still cursed. This doesn’t mean that’s the end of her story, however. A potential future DLC could include a quest to find and cure Anne, or perhaps a later game will feature her alive and well in some other capacity.
And that’s all we know for now about saving Sebastian’s sister Anne, her curse, and her current state in Hogwarts Legacy. For more on Hogwarts Legacy, check out our game guides.
