Unlocking the Wish You Were Here quest stems from a choice you make at the end of the Rarely Affectionate (Part 2). Pascal is a unique robot with a potentially dangerous problem. Clara will want to take care of Pascal, even if it comes with the emotional burden of needing to reset him repeatedly, while Svarog will prefer to reformat Pascal into the base network.

If you choose to side with Clara, a follow-up adventure mission called No One is Answering will appear after the next server reset. If you choose to side with Svarog, the Wish You Were Here adventure mission will instead become available after the server resets.

Clara will send you a message about something strange happening when the new day rolls in. Head to the Robot Settlement. You’ll find her next to a group of three robots, which just so happen to be the ones that Pascal spent the most time as.

All of the robots will seem happy to see you and will greet you in the same way Pascal did. Clara will explain that after Pascal was reformatted, their emotional intelligence (and seemingly part of their memories) managed to persist and affect the three robots. In a way, this means the adorable robot gets to live on in some way.

While the Wish You Were Here mission is finished, there will still be one last thing to take care of. Clara will message you another time once the server resets again. She’ll tell you to visit the Tempering Workshop in Rivet Town. This is the same location that Pascal ran back to in the previous mission.

Fast travel to the area using the nearby Abandoned Market Space Anchor and turn around to walk around the workshop. Head to the tables on the right, and interact with the shiny object on the last one to find the Flower Made From Scrap Iron.

This special item will be acquired in the No One is Answering mission as well, albeit more directly. Unless a mission is added in the future to make use of it, the only purpose the item has is to make you feel sad or maybe happy, depending on your outlook.
