Where is the Finish Line in Track Builder?
If you select a Course Start Piece, you’ll see a category at the bottom called Finish Lines. You can find the different pieces you can use to end a race in this category. It took me a little bit to figure out I needed to scroll down to find these.
How to Finish a Course Track
Once you’re done making the track of your dreams, head over to the Finish Lines category and select a piece. You’ll then need to complete a run-through of the track in order to validate it and prove that it can be beaten. This will be done with the exclusive Tractor vehicle, which is separate from the other vehicles you can earn.

How to Finish a Circuit Track
When it comes to Circuits, there is no finish line piece since you’ll be driving laps. Your starting piece is effectively your finish line as well, so all you need to do is make sure the tracks connect. Once you do, you’ll have to do a validation run to prove it’s good to go.
How to Fix Circuit Track Not Connecting
If you’re having trouble closing off a circuit, there’s a solid chance there’s simply not enough room to make the connection. The track builder usually does a great job at automatically snapping a piece into place at the end for you. Placing the second to last piece too close will prevent everything from coming together.
Another simple, but common problem, is that you don’t have the Close Track Toggle on. It can be hard to see, but there will be a toggle command for Close Track in the upper right section of the screen. I do want to emphasize that you won’t be able to connect pieces together if this is turned off. Even if you try to manually lock things in place, it just won’t work. This can affect you when you’re trying to finish a circuit or even reconnect a piece in the middle of the track you decided to modify.
That covers everything there is to know about how to add a track builder finish line in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2. If you need additional tips and tricks, take a look at our collection of HWU2 guides.
