What is Omnivamp in Predecessor?

Omnivamp is an item effect very similar to Lifesteal, allowing you to steal health from enemy players while damaging them and healing you simultaneously. The biggest difference between the two skills is that Omnivamp is capable of stealing health with every type of damage, including abilities. On the other hand, Lifesteal only steals health through basic attacks.

Is Omnivamp Better Than LifeSteal?

Essentially, yes, Omnivamp is better than Lifesteal because it can covert damage into health for every single type of damage you deal. However, it also depends on the item’s stats with the effect and the character you’re using it with. Some items with Lifesteal can be easier to purchase quickly, but if you want to buy an item just for its life-stealing ability, Omnivamp would be the better choice.

How to Get Omnivamp in Predecessor

Omnivamp is an effect attached to particular items you purchase in the Item Shop, so if you’re looking to start using it, you’ll need to purchase one of those items. Here are a few items that have it:

Best Heroes to Use With Omnivamp

Omnivamp can used with any hero in Predecessor, allowing you to build any sustaining character you’d like. It works especially well, however, on characters that have high damage outputs and tanky stats already since they can bring in a higher HP percentage. Here are two examples of characters that work best with Omnivamp:

Feng Mao

Feng Mao is an Offlane or Jungle role focused solely on dealing big damage. He has some abilities that can hit multiple enemies simultaneously, meaning he can potentially steal health from multiple targets at once. With Omnivamp, his large damage numbers give him so much sustain that he can stand within the heat for as long as he needs to tank out incoming damage and defeat his target.

Greystone

Greystone is already a tanky hero, and with the extra boost from Omnivamp, he has even more sustainability. Plus, his fast-paced attacks, like Make Way, and bonuses in critical attacks, can keep the health steal coming at an insane rate. He’s also a great beginner character with whom you can test out the Omnivamp item.

These are the basics of how Omnivamp works and how to use it to build your character. Turn your damage into health. You can test it on your heroes in-game now and see what OP builds you can create.
