How to Answer the First Witch in Withering Rooms

In the prologue of Withering Rooms, you’ll speak with the First Witch and quickly discover that things don’t end well for you if she doesn’t like your answers. So, what happens if you answer her correctly? Here’s how to answer the First Witch in Withering Rooms and whether your choices genuinely matter.

Withering Rooms: How to Answer the First Witch

After reaching the Entrance Hall, you can speak to a young girl named Beca. She warns you that you shouldn’t be there and advises you to talk with the First Witch immediately. She also cautions you to answer the First Witch honestly and that things should turn out okay (emphasis on “should”). Continue heading to the right, and you’ll find the First Witch by the fireplace.

The First Witch will ask you three questions (these questions will always remain the same even if you start your game over). How you answer them will determine whether you continue your conversation with her or meet a gruesome demise and proceed to Chapter 1.

As you can see, it doesn’t really matter how you answer the First Witch in Withering Rooms. Unfortunately, no matter how you answer her, she’ll always turn you into burnt toast, and you’ll die a fiery death and begin Chapter 1. Talk about hot dropping you into the game! But don’t worry — you’ll get the last laugh, as you’ll soon find out that the First Witch got what was coming to her.
