How to Ascend a Unit in Anime Vanguards

When you think that you are finished with upgrades and the grind, you almost always realize that there is more to be achieved in Anime Vanguards. In this article, I will show you how to ascend a unit in Anime Vanguards so you can achieve greater power with the unit.

Ascending Units in Anime Vanguards – What to do

Ascending a Unit in Anime Vanguards is simple on paper. Here is what you need to do to achieve this:

• Visit the Ascension vendor. You will be able to spot this vendor next to the Summon area. It looks like Kakashi from Naruto if you’ve watched the anime (gray hair, face mask, forehead protector) but is named “Kokashi,” most probably due to copyright reasons. Check the screenshot above for clarification. When you get close to Kakashi, interact with him.
• Click on the Plus button.
• Choose one of your Mythic units (they must not be equipped at the moment of your Ascension attempt; check the screenshot below to see what the menu where you can unequip the unit looks like).
• Fulfil the requirements listed on your screen for this specific unit (you will need a specific item that will trigger the ascension, which may vary depending on which unit you are trying to perform the ascension on).
• Click on the Ascend button when you’re done.

Every unit can be ascended until it reaches three stars. This is a very useful thing to do not just for the reason of getting more powerful units, but also because it cleans up the dupes in your inventory. Be mindful that when you perform the Ascension of a unit, you lose those extra copies from your inventory permanently (it’s for the greater good anyway).
