Do you want to be one of these pros, and get hired by the biggest football teams? If so I bet you are wondering what the easiest way to become a top FIFA gamer is… I have you covered!

Practice makes perfect

Just like anything else in the world, practicing is what’s going to make you a better player. This doesn’t necessarily mean playing incessantly for 12 hours a day, but steadily playing for a few hours a day to avoid growing too frustrated and simply not performing to your true potential. There are obviously varying factors, such as if a tournament is around the bend you will likely need to practice a bit more.

Play against the best

Just like any sport, or anything competitive in the world, testing yourself against the best is how you stay at the top. Playing on your own or against your pals and winning 5-0 simply isn’t challenging enough. Somebody once beat the computer 189-0! As well as practicing technique and skill moves, you have to put it into practise online against some of the best. A FIFA pro will usually have a practising partner, sometimes it’s easiest to form groups and work together.

Patience is a virtue

FIFA can either be one of the most enjoyable games in the world, or quite simply the most frustrating. But would every Olympian in history be where they are without patience? Would Ronaldo or Messi be where they are without patience. It is incredibly easy to get frustrated and throw your controller on the floor. It is not only a case of not expecting to be the best straight from the beginning, but having the patience to stick at the practice and then test yourself against the very best.

Have the best equipment

If you want to make it to the top you simply have to have the best gear. Some monitors have different time delays to others, and others do not have the required graphic settings. Switching from a cheap TV to a fancy one can seriously improve the responsiveness of your controls. There is nothing worse than having a duff sprint button!

Take the pressure

Perhaps the hardest part of becoming the best. This is the worst thing about playing in a competition. When there is a lot riding on one match, it can be so easy to buckle under the stress and pressure of losing. When you’re growing frustrated it gets even harder as well, but this is what separates the best from the rest. If you can handle the cooker pressure that is being a FIFA pro player, then you could be destined for great things…

Don’t get injured

Gaming non stop can sometimes have an adverse affect on your health. Playing non-stop is only going to result in one thing. Injury. Full time FIFA players often have trouble with their hands and eyes as they remain glued in one position for several hours straight. Richard Murray from Arinite health and safety consultants said ‘Gaming too much is undoubtedly bad for you, especially hand held devices, not to mention the damage it can do to your eyes.’

So there we have it. The top tips on how to become a FIFA pro. You might be good now, but with dedication you could be playing for a Premier League team.
