High Demand, Low Supply
Like with any product, it is important to balance the supply with the demand, and the Nintendo Switch is no different.
Lately, there have been complaints about the lack of avaliable Switchs. But according to an interview with Wired, Fils-Aime has done his best to assuage the fear that the supply of Nintendo Switch will not meet the demands.
Fils-Aime stated:
“There will be 2 million units that will be shipped worldwide for the launch, essentially through month one… Our focus is making sure that the consumer who wants to buy a Nintendo Switch can buy a Nintendo Switch.”
I guess only time will tell if 2 million units is enough, but until then, here’s how you can find the Nintendo Switch.
Let the Search Begin…
There are a few websites that you can use to find the Nintendo Switch.
The website Smyths shows the current online stock of Switches.
But, more helpful than that is NowInStock because it has a tracker that auto-updates, it tells you where to find the Switch, the last price that it was sold for, and the last date/time that it was in stock. It even gives you instructions as to how to be updated when the Nintendo Switch item you’re looking for is in stock or available for pre-order.
So, if you’re looking for the Switch, this is one of the best websites available to find it on.
And, if you’re still having trouble on your quest for Switchiness, you can always check StockInformer. Much like NowInStock, it tells you which items are available, and how to receive alerts for the item that you’re looking for.
And if that still doesn’t work, you can check out the NintendoSwitchFinder website, which gives you the options to look at Twitter updates, receive push notifications, or be emailed when the Switch becomes available.
So, now you’ve got four ways to locate your Nintendo Switch (and accessories)! What’s next?
When You Find A Switch
After going through the grueling process of checking in-stock units online, looking for stock numbers, and hunting down every and all leads, you finally have your Switch!
So what now?
I say hold on to your Switch as tightly as possible, and never let go. Play those sweet new games, and never (ever) let anyone borrow it.
I’m (mostly) joking about that last tip. Happy hunting!
