Saint of the Slums in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a lengthier back-and-forth quest with several points where you’ll often be wondering where you need to go next. I’ll clear up all the confusion and take you through a step-by-step guide. Here’s how to complete Saint of the Slums in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

To complete the Saint of the Slums quest, make sure you complete all steps from below in order:

  • Start with gathering Miasmite for Elena: If you don’t have any on hand, I got some outside either of the two city exits at night from specters. Exploring the Vermund wilds at night, in general, will eventually have you fighting them, so you can’t go wrong with where you go.
  • Bring it Back: Elena will give you a tour, and you’ll speak with Lubomir and Lottie.
  • Speak to Lottie: She’ll tell you of a mysterious medicine Elena uses to cure patients.
  • Speak to Lubomir: He’s at the back of the Gracious Hand building on a bed. Both he and Lottie are suspicious of Elena and hear strange cries from the basement sickroom.
  • Enter the Basement Sickroom: It’s located below the Gracious Hand building, down the stairs and to the right.

So, how can one enter the sickroom?

To enter the Basement Sickroom in Dragon’s Dogma 2, all you have to do is come back at night and go downstairs beneath the Gracious Hand building. From here, follow these steps :

  • Get the Medicine and Treatment Records: Once you’re in, there will be two patients you can speak to who are under the effects of Elena’s suspicious medicine. Continue to the last room on the left, where you’ll find treatment records and some mysterious medicine.
  • Back to Lubomir: Bring those back to Lubomir, and he’ll guide you in speaking to former Elena patients called Jehan and Bruno. He’ll tell you that gathering enough evidence of Elena’s mistreatment of her patients and illegal activities will allow you to capture her and apprehend her to the guards. Essentially, this means we need to use Grab on her, but we need sufficient evidence first, so let’s start with Jehan and Bruno.
  • Speak to Jehan and Bruno: They’re located just down the street from the Gracious Hand building at a local tavern. They’re to the left of the bar. By speaking to them, you’ll learn that Elena meets with a mysterious figure at nighttime.
  • Go to the Secret Meeting: Go east of the town square to the pointed location at night, where you’ll witness Elena’s meeting and trade and overhear that she’s poisoning patients for Lord Phaesus. Optionally, you can complete the Beggar’s Tale quest near here.
  • Show Lubomir the Unlabeled Medicine: At any point, you can also speak to Lubomir again to show him the Mysterious Medicine bottle. He’ll point you to Radcliff who’s a doctor located at the Checkpoint Rest Town.

All we have to do now is gather the last piece of evidence from Radcliff and capture Elena.

How to Capture Elena in Dragon’s Dogma 2

To capture Elena, we need to gather the last piece of advice from Radcliff proving that the medicine is poisonous to patients:

  • Travel to the Checkpoint Rest Town: I walked to this location since I wanted the XP and loot but you can simply take an ox cart there at the West Vernworth Oxcart Station. The trip costs 200 gold.
  • Speak to Radcliff: Once you’ve reached Rest Town, follow the quest marker to Radcliff’s house and give him the Mysterious Medicine. He’ll agree to study it, but you have to wait a day.
  • Wait for Radcliff to Study the Medicine: I recommend resting at The Sword and Staff if you quickly want to progress the quest but you can also do some quests around Rest Town while you wait.
  • Speak to Radcliff After One Day: He’ll tell you that the medicine is indeed harmful to patients, providing us with the last piece of evidence we need to turn in Elena.
  • Capture Elena: To complete Saint of the Slums, all you have to do now is go back to the Gracious Hand and use the Grab button on Elena, which automatically triggers a cutscene and ends the quest. She’ll be in front of the basement sickroom at night. Once you capture her, the guards will give you 11000 gold, and you’ll get 1600 XP.
  • (Optional) Go to the Gaol and Speak to Elena: If you go back to the Vernworth Gaol where the Magistrate was, you can speak to the now-captured Elena. If you’re doing the Veil of Gossamer Clouds quest for Sven, you can show her the mysterious letter, and she’ll explain its meaning to you.
