How to Complete the Beggar’s Tale in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Here's how to complete the Beggar's Tale side quest in Dragon's Dogma 2 really fast.

As you’re doing missions around Vernworth, you’ll hear rumors of a beggar who’s doing quite well. It all turns out to be a ruse as someone is actually posing as a beggar using a disguise, which you can find. Here’s how to complete a Beggar’s Tale in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

The fastest way to finish the Beggar’s Tale side quest is to find the Beggar’s Garb near the slums of Vernworth and take it to Albert. I’ve marked their location on the map above, and they’re inside a house near one of the beds on the right. The entrance to the house looks like the picture below. I approached and entered the house at night, but I hadn’t tested whether it was open during the day as well.

Once you get the Beggar’s Garb, go outside and look for Albert. He should be wandering around to the left as soon as you exit the house in black royal clothing with wild brown hair like in the header image. I found him going through the nearby tunnel. Speak to him, tell him you found the clothes, and deliver them. He’ll act confused then panic and he’ll ask not to speak of this to anyone.

This finishes the quest automatically, rewarding you with 900 XP and a whopping 5000 gold, which is a decent score early in the game. I used it to enhance some of my Thief gear. Overall, this side quest is a quick gold grab that anyone can do in a few minutes. I didn’t even accept it in the intended way as I randomly came across the Beggar Garb while exploring the city at night.

That concludes my guide on how to complete a Beggar’s Tale in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For more Dragon’s Dogma 2 guides check out how to change pawn inclination or how to find Malcolm.
