Are you feeling a bit murderous? Well, this week’s challenge needs you to commit at least one murder, spend a decade in prison, find love, and even write a memoir about it all. The nature of some tasks adds extra difficulty, so here’s how to complete the Pushing Roses Challenge in BitLife.

BitLife: How to Complete the Pushing Roses Challenge Tasks

To fulfill Pushing Roses challenge in BitLife you need to complete the following tasks:

• Be born a female in Louisiana
• Murder your mother at age 23
• Go to prison for 10 years
• Write a memoir after leaving prison
• Marry someone within 2 years of leaving prison

Be Born a Female in Louisiana

Start off with a Custom Life. Choose Female as your gender and The United States as your country. Then, to be born in Louisiana, pick New Orleans as your place. While you don’t need any specific job for this challenge, keep in mind that you need to be famous to write a memoir. As such, you might want to consider jobs that come with fame while Aging Up, like being a writer, actor, musician, etc.

Murder Your Mother at Age 23

So, the biggest part of this task is that it has to be done at Age 23. This means that you go to Activities > Crimes > Murder and choose your mother as the victim. I went with poison for the method, and it worked, but if your method doesn’t work, then you need to repeat these actions until she dies. However, if you get arrested and go to prison after failing to commit this murder, you won’t be able to complete the task. You’ll have to either use the Time Machine if you have it or start over.

Go to Prison for 10 Years

Ideally, you’d get sentenced after the murder task is complete. If arrested, cooperate with the authorities and plead guilty. This guarantees you a fairly large sentence, which is fine since you need to spend a minimum of 10 years in prison. However, it doesn’t matter if you spend more than that locked up. I got unlucky and committed multiple murders without even being suspected by authorities, so you just need to keep being a criminal until you land yourself a hefty sentence.

Write a Memoir After Leaving Prison

You need to be famous to write a memoir. So, there are a couple of ways to do this with your limited options as a criminal. First, you can use special careers like acting, modeling, or music. Second, you can emigrate to a new country and get a job there to gain fame. Third, using a Get Out of Jail Free card after 10 years in prison to avoid the rest of your sentence will also expunge your record, letting you get a job. Fourth, you can try to be a Social Media Star, which can make you famous as well. However, you’d want to start building an audience as early as possible, which is Age 14 for most platforms.

Once you have some fame built up, go to Activities > Fame > Book and see if any publishers are willing to write your book. If not, your only option is to Age Up and try again next year. Repeat these steps until you successfully write a memoir.

Marry Someone within 2 Years of Leaving Prison

Once you get out of prison, go straight to Activities > Love and either use Date or the Dating App options to find a partner. Next, buy a ring from Assets > Go Shopping and choose the Jeweler that sells real jewels. The more you spend on the ring, the more likely your partner is to accept the proposal.

With a ring in hand, go to Relationships > Boyfriend/Girlfriend > Propose. Build your relationship with Conversations and Compliments if you’re rejected and try again. Remember, this has to be done within two years of leaving prison. But once your proposal is accepted, go straight back into Relationships > Fiance > Plan Wedding and get married to check off this task.
