You’ve just beat the most aggravating boss in South Park: Snow Day, and what better way to celebrate your win than a victory dance? You can perform several kinds of emotes, from silly dances to necessary gestures, so here’s how to emote in South Park: Snow Day!
How to Use Emotes in South Park: Snow Day
You can use an emote at any time you like via your Emote Wheel. To open the Emote Wheel, press Q on the PC or D-Pad Up on consoles. Then, select any of the moves displayed around the Emote Wheel to start performing them. There may be some empty slots in the wheel because you need to equip emotes to use them.
Emotes are great for any occasion, especially when playing with friends, whether you’re taunting an enemy you defeated or simply showing off some sweet moves.
How to Equip Emotes
Some emotes may be available by default in your wheel when you start the game, but if you want some other options, you’ll need to equip them into an empty slot in the Emote Wheel.
Open your menu with the Tab key on PC or the Select button on consoles, and then navigate to the Cosmetics tab. Here, you can customize your character’s appearance and equip emotes. Select the thumbs–up icon at the bottom of the customization tabs, and you’ll see all your available emotes displayed in the menu.
Emotes with the white tab in the left corner are already equipped to the Emote Wheel. To equip other emotes, select the slot in your Emote Wheel where you’d like to place the emote, and then press on the emote. The slot you have selected will have a yellow outline around it. If you’d like more emote options, you can purchase some at the lobby Bazaar!
How to Get More Emotes in South Park: Snow Day
You can get more cosmetics for your character by spending Platinum Points at the Bazaar shop in the lobby area. Platinum Points are earned by completing challenges on the “Unlocks” list.
In the Bazaar, you’ll see your Platinum Points or PP (yes, you read that correctly) located at the bottom right of the screen. This is the amount you have available to spend on any items for sale. For example, in your Cosmetics menu, you can click the thumbs-up icon to see the emotes.
There are plenty of choices of emotes to purchase from the Bazaar, from simple hand gestures to full-on dances. They vary in PP prices, so ensure you save up ahead of time by completing challenges. My personal favorites from the shop are the Casa Bonita dance, a beautiful Spanish-style dance fit for any occasion, and the Double Dukes, a nice set of middle fingers to flash to your friends or noobs you just slayed.
