How to Evolve a Unit in Anime Vanguards

Is this a Pokemon thingy?

Evolving your units in Anime Vanguards is another method of upgrading your existing units to reach a higher power level and be able to take on more difficult challenges in the game. Here’s how you can evolve a unit in Anime Vanguards. It’s going to take some grinding, so be ready.

Evolution of Units in Anime Vanguards Explained

You will be able to perform all of the Evolutions of units in Anime Vanguard at the designated hub for evolution in the main lobby, right next to the “Summon” section.

In the Evolve room, you will find a teller on the left with whom you can interact by pressing the interaction key (“E” is the default on PC), and you will get a brief introduction to the evolution process. Evolution makes your units stronger and gives them new types of attacks, as well as new passive abilities. Each unit in Anime Vanguards requires different items in order to be evolved. These will be shown in the evolution prompt, so if you do not have them yet, you will have to farm for them and conduct some Crafting at a nearby table (stock up on Essence stones by grinding Challenges and Legend stages!)

Make sure to unequip the unit you are trying to evolve before attempting to make an evolution. Also, please be aware that not every unit has an evolution built in yet, and do not confuse the evolution process with the ascension process, which we wrote about earlier. Usually, rarer and more powerful units have evolutions, while the starting units usually don’t have an evolution. We can only hope that with time, more evolutions will be added by the developers.

Once you are done with your evolution, the required items will be consumed for the process purposes.
