There is no shortage of heroes to add to your party in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. You’ll recruit some new members to the Watch early in the game, but later on, you’ll need to head back out and find more willing recruits for the Resistance. Here’s where to find some.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Recruitment Guide
Before you continue the main story quests, you’ll need to recruit a bunch more heroes to stand with you for the Resistance. Some heroes that you recruit will only serve to assist at HQ, whereas others will actually be usable in battle.
We recruited Francesca, Mellore, and Yasuke as new members of the Watch before, so here are some other heroes you can find scattered around the map and how to recruit them.
Wyler
Wyler is at Bounty Hill, all the way east from the HQ, when leaving from the main exit. You’ll find him just to the right of the Bounty Hill entrance. To recruit him, you’ll need to help him find his sister, Marin, by exploring the whole Bounty Hill area (you won’t need to go past the guards blocking the path).
Marin
Marin is Wyler’s little sister. After you help him find her, you can recruit her in Bounty Hill along with him. You’ll have to explore the whole area before finally finding her on the upper west side, just before you run into the guards.
Kerrin
Not too far from where you found Wyler and his sister Marin, you can locate another recruitable hero. Head to Dappled Forest, the location toward the center of the map in the area near HQ, just southwest of Bounty Hill.
Once you enter Dappled Forest, you can find Kerrin right in front of her cabin by walking forward and to the right. Before recruiting her, you’ll need to gather Lumber from around the area and bring it back to her.
Galdorf
To get to the following heroes, you’ll need to make your way back to the Abandoned Mines and toward Grum County again. To get there, go to the Graveyard room of the HQ, which is the back door on the first floor. Interact with the well on the right side to lower yourself down to the mine.
Venture back through the mine to find Galdorf right near the exit to Grum County. He’ll ask you to find his armor plate in the mines. You can find them on the ground right outside the entrance to the Mine Depths.
Ormond
Ormond is another dwarf you can encounter in the Abandoned Mines. You can speak to him while you’re retrieving Galdorf’s armor since he’s also just outside the entrance of the Mine Depths. You’ll spot him by his large brown backpack on his back.
To recruit him you’ll need to collect three Iron Ore pieces from the blue crystal spots around the mine and then return them to him.
Hiro
There’s one last hero you’ll come across in the mines that you’ve actually seen before — Hiro. The first time through the mine, you might have spoken to him about purchasing a few extra items. You can find him in the same spot behind the pillars in the Mid-Mine area. He’ll accept your invitation to join immediately.
Iugo
Iugo is an easily recruitable hero, but he’s more difficult to find than the others in Grum County. You’ll need to head back through the Abandoned Mines and to Eltisweiss to find him. Once there, immediately take a right and follow the path upwards and to the left. You’ll see some stairs leading to an alley between some buildings. Then, you’ll see a building with a tavern sign outside. Enter, and you’ll find Iugo, who you can recruit without any other task.
Kuroto
Kuroto is also in Grum County, and he is located at Altverden Village, the same place where we found Francesca before. After entering the village, take a left and head all the way over to the end of the road. You’ll see Kuroto standing outside of his home.
To recruit him, you’ll need to retrieve three boar pelts. Wild Boars are located at Redthroat Ridge, northeast of Altverden Village. You’ll encounter them randomly as you venture around. Once you’ve killed three of them, return to him, and he’ll join you.
Yume
To recruit Yume, you’ll need to head to Werne Village, where we previously had to sneak past the guards. Just off to the right of the entrance, you’ll see an elderly woman standing near the steps of the plaza. She’ll ask you to go find her granddaughter Yume who has wandered off.
After speaking to her grandmother, head to Redthroat Ridge, where you went to get the Wild Boards, and you’ll spot Yume with her “Friend.” Speak to her and she’ll request to join the Resistance.
Once you recruit all these heroes, head back to HQ, and it will trigger a cutscene of the heroes looking out across the castle. These are just a handful of the heroes you can get to join you. You’ll meet plenty more as you progress in the story, but these are all you need to continue the main quests for now.
