How to Find and Catch Surfent in Palworld

If you’re looking for one of the best Pals with a Watering Work Suitability, look no further than Surfent. Whether you want it for your base or its drops, it can be hard to obtain. In this guide, I’ll show you how to find and catch Surfent in Palworld. 

Where to Find Surfent 

Surfernt can be found in the Palpagos Islands area of the map. You can easily find them at the coordinates -141, -434. They’ll be swimming in the river and will be there most of the time. Whenever I went to that location, I always found at least three Surfent, so you should be able to find them easily.

How to Catch Surfent 

When you encounter Surfent, they’ll be around level 15. This means you’ll be able to grab it relatively early in the game. If you have an Electric-type Pal, they’ll be super effective against Surfent. I also recommend having a Bow so you can attack it from a distance. 

Once it’s at low enough health, make sure you command your Pal to stop attacking. There have been a few times when I was about to throw my Pal Sphere, and my Pal ended up killing it. Although you can catch them with a regular Pal Sphere, I would recommend using a Mega Sphere. This will increase the catch rate. 

Surfent Abilities/ Work Suitabilities 

Surfent is one of the best early game Water-type Pals you can get. The Swift Swimmer Partner Skill allows you to ride on Surfent’s back across the water without using any stamina. 

However, what makes Surfent the most useful is its Lv2 Watering Suitability. Since it only has one skill, it’ll solely focus on Watering and not get distracted with other tasks. I always keep a Surfent in my base, and all my Watering tasks get done fast.
