How to Find Malcolm in Dragon’s Dogma 2

As you roam around the slums in Vernworth, Ser Kendrick will approach and ask for help finding a lost boy named Malcolm. Apparently, the boy has disappeared while exploring some ruins. Here’s how to find Malcolm in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Where is Malcolm in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Malcom is in the ruins beneath the crumbled tower in the slums, but to reach him, you’ll have to speak to some of his friends first. As soon as Kendrick gives you the quest, there are three children you need to speak to. Here, you learn of Malcom’s whereabouts and convince Kendrick to clear the rubble so you can enter the underground ruins. Here are all the children and their locations:

• Harvey: He’s usually found in front of the Gracious Hand building or around the slums area digging. He’ll tell you that Malcolm is on the verge of making a big discovery.

• Rick: He’s digging on the cliff right next to the Gracious Hand building overlooking the sea. He’ll tell you a similar story of how Malcom has gone exploring.

• Aimee: Inside the Gracious Hand building, you’ll find Aimee usually sitting at the back next to the patients. Speak to her and she’ll tell you that Malcolm and her were supposed to go visit the ruins together.

Once you’ve spoken to all three of Malcom’s friends, go back to Kendrick and tell him about Malcom’s whereabouts and how he’s exploring the ruins. He’ll agree to clear the rubble so that both of you can descend beneath the crumbled tower and find Malcolm.

Malcolm’s Location in Dragon’s Dogma 2

As soon as you enter the ruins with Kendrick, follow the stairs down until you reach a locked gate. Make a right here and jump across the chasm. Follow the path until you reach a small room where Malcolm is waiting. All three of you will then explore the ruins with Malcolm in the middle until you find an ancient abandoned library soon after. This will finish the quest, earning you some XP, gold, and, later on, a pawn specialization from Malcom upon returning to the slums.

As for the ancient library, this is an important location for the Find the Magistrate quest. Once you break the Magistrate out of prison, you can tell him of the ancient library, and he’ll move down there to safety. That concludes my guide on how to find Malcolm in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
