The Thief maister in the Nameless Village manor is actually a fake front for the Thieves Guild that’s below the village. To meet with them, you need to find a secret cave. Here’s how to find the secret cave in the Nameless village in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Where is the Secret Cave in the Nameless Village in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The secret cave leading to the Nameless Village Depths where the real Thief Vocation maister waits is right behind the Old Noble Manor. I simply walked around the manner during daytime and the entrance to the cave is quite easy to spot. It’s a large hole in the ground with ladders.
Once you descend into the Nameless Village Depths, you’ll come across a couple of jumping puzzles. The first one includes three platforms. I jumped on the middle wooden one, then to the left one, and finally to the right one to get across. Make sure you’re sprinting to go as fast as you can.
From here, continue down the hallway and make a first right down a dead-end hallway, then jump over the gap to grab a great Thief helmet from a chest. Watch out for leeches, they’re not tough enemies but there are a few of them.
Go back and continue down the hallway to another jumping puzzle. You can cheese this one with the Footpad core skill by falling below, going to the end of the puzzle where you can see the ladder, and jumping off the side wall to the ledge above. Keep trying and your character will eventually grab it and you’ll climb up thus skipping the puzzle.
Continue down the hallway and you’ll meet Srail the real Thief maister who teaches you Formless Faint. And that’s how to find the secret cave in the Nameless Village in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Check out our Dragon’s Dogma 2 hub for more guides like the best Thief skills and best Mystic Spearhand skills.
