How to Get an Ore Mining Site in Palworld

Before Palworld‘s v0.2.0.6 update, we were stuck roaming the world to find mining spots or venturing into mining shafts. However, we can now mine from the comfort of our bases using the Ore Mining Sites. Here’s how to get some and what Pals you can use to run them efficiently.

How to Craft Ore Mining Site in Palworld

The Ore Mining Site will make mining so much easier, but you’ll first need to unlock the crafting recipe to get it and ensure you have the right materials collected to craft it.

To unlock the crafting recipe, you need to reach level 15 in your Technology tree. You can do this easily by earning XP, whether through crafting, fighting, or foraging items. When you reach level 15, you’ll need 2 Ancient Technology points to unlock it. Ancient Technology points are earned by battling Alpha Pal Bosses. They are spread all around the world, but thankfully, there are even some lower-level ones you can fight to earn points.

After unlocking the Ore Mining Site, you can find it in your Build menu under Production. You’ll need a few different materials to craft it:

• Stone x50
• Ingot x25
• Paldium Fragment x20

Ingots can only be made by using the Primitive Furnace unlocked in Technology 10, using 20 Wood, 50 Stone, and 3 Flame Organs. Ensure you focus on unlocking that and farming those ingots from the ore first before you can craft your Mining Site.

Best Pals To Use for Ore Mining Site

With the Ore Mining Site set up, you can start farming as much ore as you need. However, to do so, you need some pals who can work on the site for you. Pals need a specific Mining work suitability to be assigned to the mining site. While there are a lot of Pals to choose from, some of them have higher skills than others. Here are some options:

• Astegon – Mining Level 4
• Anubis – Mining Level 3
• Mammorest – Mining Level 2
• Depresso – Mining Level 1
• Cattiva – Mining Level 1

Cattiva is a great early-game option since they are all around the starting area. This can start you off until you reach a higher level and can capture more powerful pals. To assign them to your Ore Mining Site, open your Palbox and drag your Pal into the ‘Pals at the Base’ slot. They should immediately head toward the site to start farming it.

Thanks to the Ore Mining Site, you don’t ever have to worry about getting ore again. As long as you have Pal to work it and some storage space, you’re set!
