Among a plethora of other things, the gameplay of Final Fantasy XIV involves harvesting resources to craft items and improve their qualities. You can find a variety of items while exploring, one of which is the Bayberry. It’s an important material that you need in crafting various items, but getting it isn’t always easy. If you’re looking for ways to get your hands on Bayberry in FFXIV, here’s how you can do it.
What are Bayberries in FFXIV?
Bayberry was introduced as a new Legendary crafting material in Patch 6.2 after the release of Shadowbringers. In Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, Master Weavers mainly use Bayberry to produce Bayberry Cloth, which is a crucial component in the creation of useful sets, such as the Salon Server’s and Rinascita armor, as well as accessory sets.
Where to Find Bayberry
To acquire Bayberry, Botanists must search the Labyrinthos map for a shrub that yields Bayberry. You can find the Bayberry shrub at the following coordinates (X: 27.9, Y: 11.7). Note that the node only makes an appearance at 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. Eorzean Time.
In addition, you must read the Tome of Botanical Folklore – Ilsabard and the Northern Empty to access the node. The Splendors Vendor in Radz-at-Han sells this tome for Regional Folklore Trader’s Token C ×16. After fulfilling this prerequisite and traveling to the node’s spot at the correct time, players will be able to harvest Bayberry if their Perception Level is 3,600 or higher.
What are Bayberries Used For in FFXIV?
In FFXIV, Bayberry is primarily used to craft Bayberry Cloth, which is a vital component in crafting several types of Rubellux Weapons. It can also be used for materia melding to create powerful items and gear. Additionally, Bayberry can be used to craft potions, food, and elixirs. Finally, it can also be used for scrips, which can be exchanged for a variety of rewards.
Now that you know more about Bayberry, its uses, and where to find it in FFXIV, there’s even more to discover as of Patch 6.3.
