The Another Crab stowaway is an incredibly powerful trinket in Another Crab’s Treasure because it revives you upon death. You lose it in the process, but it can be a boon in mid and late-game boss fights. Here’s how to get the extra life stowaway in Another Crab’s Treasure.
How to Get Another Crab Stowaway in Another Crab’s Treasure
To get the Another Crab extra life stowaway, you’ll need to unlock the Grappling Hook from the castle first. Then the easiest way to reach it is from the Moonsnail Shell in front of the castle. Go west toward the canyon leading to the Captain boss fight. You can easily spot the narrow passage between rocks, bottles, and with a grappling point above like in the picture.
Grapple toward the hook and then swim to the right. You’ll face a corrupted comb crab. I suggest charged attacks to take it down and blocking its slow attacks with your shell. Continue past it to a series of grappling hook points, as shown in the picture below. Follow them, and you’ll find a 2500 microplastic sellable trinket along the way.
Once you reach the platform at the end, you’ll fight some fish and likely your first blowfish. I wouldn’t recommend trying to dodge its massive swinging attack arc. Blocking is a bit more optimal. Once you defeat them, continue toward the opposite edge of the platform, where you’ll see a final grappling point.
Jump and swim to it a little mid-air before grappling to it. You’ll find the Another Crab stowaway at the top of the tower you’re swinging to. Generally speaking, powerful stowaways like this will glow orange as pick-ups.
That’s it for my guide on how to get the extra life stowaway in Another Crab’s Treasure. For more Another Crab’s Treasure guides, check out how to unlock the skill tree or beat the Royal Shellsplitter.
