How to Get Focused Activity Winners Packages in Destiny 2 Guardian Games All-Stars

Want a permanent hoverboard in Destiny 2? Then you might need to know how to get Focused Activity winners packages during Guardian Games All-Stars.

Guardian Games All-Stars in Destiny 2 attempts to take the seasonal event to new heights of competition with the introduction of Focused Activity Winners Packages, special loot boxes rewarded based on each class’s performance. Here’s how you get them.

How You Get Focused Activity Winner’s Packages in Destiny 2

If you want to complete the Drop In quest during Guardian Games All-Stars in Destiny 2, you need to do one of three things:

  • Open three Focused Activity Winners Packages
  • Get 1,200 Medalion Points
  • Get in the top 10% of all Nightfall scores for a single Strike

You get Focused Activity Winners Packages if your chosen class puts up the most points in the Focused Activity. You choose which class you want to Focus the first time you load into a Focused Activity. For instance, if you main Hunter but you go into a Focused Activity on your Titan, Titans across Destiny 2 will need to work hard to keep you on top of the standings.

The best way to get Focused Activity Winners Packages, then, is to wait until the Focused Activity only has a bit of time left. Each one lasts three hours, and you can check the remaining time by hovering over its node in the Director, and the standings update in (mostly) real-time. That means you can grind other parts of the game — or make a sandwich, I guess — for the first couple hours, then jump in on whichever class is ahead with an hour or forty-five minutes to go. On the first day of competition, by that time, the winner is pretty clear.

Note that while opening the three Focused Activity Winners Packages you need to complete the Drop In quest and get your permanent hoverboard is technically the easiest task on the list, it could also take the least amount of time. Unless you have a dedicated Nightfall team pushing that can eke out every point imaginable from the activity, chances are your best bet is to cheese the rewards. Or grind Medallion points if you don’t mind the slowest burn available in Destiny 2.

One last thing: if your class doesn’t win the current Focused Activity, you’ll still get some rewards based on the score threshold your team reached. Tier III rewards, for example, are a Gold Medallion, a piece of gear, and some crafting materials.

In any event, those are the important details about getting more Focused Activity Winners Packages in Destiny 2. Not the most consistent thing unless you’re a Hunter, as they’ve been cleaning up recently. For more content on the game, check out our Destiny 2 guides hub.
