How to Get Free Ammo in Arena Breakout: Infinite

Get some free ammo in your raids, so you can spend your money on better guns and equipment.

In Arena Breakout: Infinite, ammo is one of the few overlooked items new players take for granted when planning their next raid. If you are not accurate with your shots, you may be running out of ammo all the time, so unless you want to spend thousands of Koen before every raid, you should pay attention and learn how to get free ammo in Arena Breakout: Infinite.

Getting Free Ammo in Arena Breakout: Infinite

Most players think about getting better weapons, new helmets, and gun parts before going into raids, but some forget that you can also get free ammo if you know where to look. Rare ammo can be expensive if you want to be effective against enemy players, so learning a few tricks to get free ammo will go a long way in your journey to gather Koen and run with the best gear.

Weapon Cases

Besides holding weapons, gun parts, and the occasional expensive sight, weapon cases sometimes hold ammo.

I’ve found lots of ammo when searching through weapon cases. You can find anything from 9×19, 7.62×39, 5.45×39, and many more ammo types, so next time you stumble upon a weapon case, pay attention before you keep looking for rare keys or a hostile player.

Ammo Boxes

If you pay attention to your surroundings, you will find some ammo boxes around the map. Some of them are in plain sight behind sandbags, burned-out cars, and even next to stacks of hay, so some players don’t even bother to search for them.

Ammo Boxes are a no-brainer for getting free ammo, and if you are lucky, you will even find expensive ammo in your favorite calibre. Finding Flechette and Slugs in these ammo boxes is not rare, so if you like running shotguns, you may want to keep an eye open next time you go to Farm or Valley.

Contacts

Your contacts are not just there to provide you with missions and a friendly talk when opening the contact window. If you go through their menu, you’ll see some of them give you the option to trade items you find in your raids for ammo.

Items that otherwise would have no value can now be traded for some ammo, so learn what those items are and keep them in your backpack before ending the raid.

Dead NPCs

You’d be surprised to know how many times I’ve found ammo for my assault rifles and SMGs while looking through a dead NPC’s body. Most of them are running small weapons like the Uzi, MP40, and a few handguns, so if you frequent those types of weapons, looting a dead NPC may be your best option to get some ammo fast.

In Arena Breakout: Infinite, most players will learn where NPCs spawn pretty quickly, and luckily for them, NPCs spawn with a set of weapons that don’t change too often, so after a few runs, you’ll know where to find a mosin nagant, SKS, or even a Uzi for free along with some ammo.

Dead Players

The most dangerous way of getting ammo is killing other players. If you want to get tons of ammo and possibly rare loot, hunting enemy players is your best option. Most players are running the same rifles, so there’s always a good chance of finding compatible magazines and ammo for your weapons.

You must play it smart, as players with high-end gear usually have expensive helmets and vests, so consider that before deciding to fight another team.
