How to Get Iridium Bars in Stardew Valley

Get the best upgrade for your tools in Stardew Valley using Iridium!

When it comes to resources in Stardew Valley, Iridium is among the most useful. However, its greatest use is for the final upgrade of your tools. You won’t get much of it early, but it becomes easier to find in late-game. Here’s how to get Iridium Bars in Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley: How to Get Iridium Bars

Iridium Bars are made using 5x Iridium Ores and 1x Coal in the furnace. However, there are a few other ways to find Iridium Bars. These include:

  • Traveling Merchant.
  • Purple Slimes.
  • Shadow Shaman.
  • Shadow Brutes.
  • Iridium Bats.
  • Iridium Golems.
  • Gold Fishing Treasure Chests.

The downside is that all these secondary methods come with a pretty low drop rate. So, you might want to focus on getting the iridium ore instead.

How to Get Iridium Ore

Iridium Nodes are found in Skull Cavern and Volcano Dungeon. You can also find them in Mystic Stones from the Mines (Level 100+), and Quarry. Additionally, there’s a small chance for Iridium Ore to be in Magma and Omni Geodes, as well as Golden Coconuts. Like Iridium Bars, the ore has a chance to drop from high-level monsters in Skull Cavern, specifically, so that’s what I would focus on.

The Traveling Merchant has a chance to have ore in her stock, Super Cucumber Fish Ponds can produce ore, Fishing Treasure Chests and Panning can give you ore, and a meteorite on your farm always drops 6 ore. Finally, once you unlock the Statue of Perfection, you earn 2-8 Iridium Ore from it every day.

And that covers how to get Iridium Bars in Stardew Valley. There are a lot of methods that have the potential to give you either bars or ore, but nodes and the Statue of Perfection are the more consistent sources.
