Like most farming simulators, you have the option to get married and have kids while tending your fields. However, the process for marriage isn’t always clearly explained in-game. If you have your eye on somebody in Honeywood, here’s how to get married in Echoes of the Plum Grove.
Echoes of the Plum Grove: How to Get Married
First, head to the Lighthouse and trade with Luna. She sells a Marriage Bouquet, and as soon as you buy this item go and gift the bouquet to your intended future spouse, and the marriage quest starts. If you already have a decent relationship with the NPC, then the quest is easier to complete. Otherwise, you’ll need to know which gifts the NPC likes.
Aside from gifts, your relationship with NPCs increases when you talk with them and complete their quests. Depending on your current relationship, it might take days to get it high enough with the NPC to move on to the next section of the quest. But when you’re ready, you need to make a trip to the Blacksmith.
Purchase a Ring from the Blacksmith
Trade with the Blacksmith and look at his selection of rings. He tends to have at least two in stock at any time. Although both accomplish the task, the better ring increases the chance that the NPC will accept your proposal. With that in mind, pick up a ring and give it to the NPC you want to marry. This completes the small questline that leads up to marriage, assuming that your proposal is accepted. Otherwise, you’ll need to keep working on your relationship to try again.
That’s how to get married in Echoes of the Plum Grove. It’s a bit different from a lot of farm sims, which require a single item that you give as a proposal token. While the items are easy enough to find, money might be the biggest issue since you need to pay taxes and all that. But from here, check out our Plum Grove guide hub for more content as we expand it.
