How to Obtain Pal Fluids in Palworld

Pal Fluids are a common material looted from Water-type Pals. Capture them with Pal Spheres or defeat them in combat, just like you would for farming Leather. While you can’t buy them from the Wandering Merchant, you can sell Pal Fluids to him for 90 Gold. They’re so easy to farm that you could make a decent sum of money to buy schematics or other Pals.

Similar to Leather, I don’t recommend using up your Spheres to capture these Pals. There’s always a chance the ball will fail, and you don’t want to spend more resources than necessary. Instead, equip your weapon and defeat them in combat. This is a much faster method to grow your Pal Fluids collection.

Water Pals are abundant on the beach of the Fort Ruins, located at map coordinates 182, -390. Head to the ocean, and you’ll find these three easy-to-kill (or capture) Pals:

  • Pengullet: Ice Organ, Pal Fluids.
  • Teafant: Pal Fluids.
  • Celaray: Pal Fluids.

I should clarify: they’re easy to defeat if you can keep up with them. Pengullets have a tendency to spot you from far off and run away. The same goes for Teafants. Crouch and use a ranged weapon, such as a Bow or Fire Bow, so you don’t spook them.

You should increase your Stamina stat if you plan on chasing them with a melee weapon. As far as your party goes, I’d take an Eikthyrdeer with you for extra damage from their Antler Uppercut charge ability.

Additionally, you can find these Pals in other early zones, too. I came across Pengullets just down the hill from the Plateau of Beginnings Fast Travel point and near the Grassy Behemoth Hills statue. That said, the Fort Ruins beach is the easiest spot to get them clustered together for efficient farming.

What Crafting Recipes Require Pal Fluids?

From Hot Springs to Pal Gear, several crafting and building recipes require Pal Fluids.

  • Hot Spring: Facility where Pals on base can rest. Restores SAN.
  • Celaray’s Gloves: Gloves that allow the player to use Celaray as a glider.
    • x5 Cloth
    • x3 Pal Fluids
    • x5 Paldium Fragment
  • Cement: Used for creating structures. It can be produced with a High Quality Workbench.
    • x50 Stone
    • x1 Bone
    • x1 Pal Fluids
  • Water Fountain: Place in a base to improve the Watering efficiency of Pals.
    • x100 Ingot
    • x200 Stone
    • x20 Pal Fluids

The Hot Spring is definitely the one to prioritize first. You need it to upgrade your base, and you don’t want to deal with your Pals slacking off or sustaining injuries from stress.

That’s everything I know about how to get Pal Fluids in Palworld. Now, you can have a steady supply for all your crafting needs. For more on this monster-catching adventure, check out our dedicated guides hub for topics like how to catch humans and how to manage your inventory.
