How to Get Sovereigns in Skull and Bones

Sovereigns are an end game currency in Skull and Bones.

If you’re eying a special cosmetic or new outfit, you need to acquire Sovereigns to purchase them. However, earning them isn’t exactly easy, and there are better ways to stuff your coffers than others. This is how to get Sovereigns in Skull and Bones.

How to Earn Sovereigns in Skull and Bones

There are a number of different currencies in Skull and Bones, from the basic silver to the exotic Monstrous Tooth. Among these is Sovereigns, a unique gold and silver coin marked with the Helm’s insignia.

Sovereigns are an endgame currency you first receive after hitting Kingpin. They are only earned when spending or acquiring Pieces of Eight. Specifically, they’re gained by climbing the Weekly and Seasonal Leaderboard, which tracks your gain and use of Pieces of Eight.

How to Unlock the Leaderboard in Skull and Bones

However, you won’t be able to see the Leaderboard until you complete a couple of new tasks. The first is to finish a successful Hostile Takeover. This one is easier than it sounds, as you’re only competing with yourself instead of other players. When done, Yanita will reward you with x50 Sovereigns.

After, you must complete another of the new Manufactory multiplayer events. This can be a Hostile Takeover, with actual PvP, or the co-op Legendary Heist. Either way, once successfully completed, the Leaderboard will unlock.

Weekly Ranks vs. Seasonal Ranks

There are two leaderboards, Weekly and Seasonal. Each lists on the left side where you rank and what you need to hit to earn Sovereigns. In the image above, I need to earn 931 more Helm Score to be rewarded 350 Sovereigns. Weekly ranks give less currency but are easier to achieve.
