How to Get Endgame Weapons & Armor for Each Dragon’s Dogma 2 Vocation

Here's how to get endgame gear for all vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2.

The best gear is only accessible in the endgame once you beat the Dragon and do the true ending. This will lead you to the late-game area where you can access each vocation’s ultimate gear. Here’s how to get the best endgame weapons and armor for each vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Once you beat the Dragon and do the true ending, you’ll arrive in a cataclysmic version of the world where you can buy the endgame gear. Merchants in each major area will start selling the best weapons and armor for each vocation. Here’s a list of all merchants selling endgame gear:

  • Rodrick’s Smithy in Vernworth.
  • Grisha’s Armory in the Sacred Arbor.
  • Celeste’s Smithy in Checkpoint Rest Town.
  • Awaran’s Arms in Bakbattahl.
  • Brokkr’s Smithy in Bakbattahl.

Furthermore, the Dragonforged will also start selling special weapons and armor like the damage-increasing Dragon’s Dogma sword for Wyrmslife Crystals. This makes WC the most important resource in the endgame. You can buy the best weapons and armor for each vocation here for around 30 to 70 WC, depending on the gear piece. Body armor pieces tend to be the most expensive at 70.

That said, I highly recommend checking the stats for each regular merchant gear piece and the Wyrmslife Crystals one at the Dragonforged. Some regular merchant gear pieces are actually better than the Dragonforged versions. For example, the Heaven’s Key daggers for Thief from a regular merchant are drastically better than Dragon’s Vein daggers you buy for WC. In such cases, I recommend saving your WC and just getting the regular gear pieces.

That concludes my guide on how to get the best endgame weapons and armor for each vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For more Dragon’s Dogma 2 guides, check out the best Thief and Magick Archer augments and whether you should destroy the Dragon Statue in “A Scholarly Pursuit.”
