There are a variety of ships you can build on your journey to become the Kingpin of the Seas. If you like dousing enemies in fire and burning their ships to char, then you want the Sambuk. Here’s how to get the Sambuk ship blueprint in Skull and Bones.
Where to Find the Sambuk Blueprint in Skull and Bones
There’s only one place to find the blueprint for the Pyromaniac Sambuk. Included in the inventory of the Black Market, you can purchase it for 5,000 Pieces of Eight. However, you must have reached Cutthroat Infamy before the option to buy it unlocks.
The Sambuk ship is a medium-sized ship you can acquire in the mid-game. If you set enemies Ablaze, you inflict 5,000 fire damage on them. It can also target multiple enemies at once if they’re within close range. It’s basically a ship turned flamethrower.
How to Access the Black Market for the Sambuk Blueprint
You can access the Black Market from any Helm vendor. Speak with Yanita Nara in Le Pont Muet in Sainte-Anne after completing your first Delivery mission to the Overseas Smuggler. She has a plethora of plans from ship designs, armor, guns, and furniture, in addition to the Sambuk blueprint.
How to Build a Sambuk Ship in Skull and Bones
Once you’ve obtained the Sambuk ship blueprint, head to the Shipwright. Select “Craft a New Item,” which gives you the various ship options. The Sambuk costs 12,000 silver to build and requires the following materials:
- x4 Cogwheel
- x1 Eels’ Twine
- x15 Greenheart Plank
- x15 Magnetite Ingot
- x12 Roselle Cloth
- x2 Torsion Spring
- x4 Wood Tar
Many of these crafting materials are found on Compagnie ships or can be plundered from outposts and settlements. Especially toward the East in the Central Basin or along the International Trade Route, most of the French vessels will be carrying some of these resources.
