How to Get Tickets for Lewis’ Prize Machine in Stardew Valley (& All Rewards)

Earn some amazing rewards on Lewis' Prize Machine. Here's how!

One of the best new features in Stardew Valley‘s update 1.6 is Lewis’ Prize Machine. This is a great way to earn some extra special rewards, including some brand-new items. Before you claim those rewards, though, you need tickets, so here’s how to get tickets for Lewis’ Prize Machine.

How to Use Lewis’ Prize Machine in Stardew Valley

Lewis’ Prize Machine is located at his house toward the center of town. It’s the blue and beige house with the truck parked beside it.

When you head inside the house, you’ll spot the prize machine in the upper left corner with a flashing light above it. However, before you can start using it, you’ll need some prize tickets.

How to Earn Prize Tickets in Stardew Valley

There are three different ways you can earn tickets for the machine: complete orders, complete special quests, or from festivals.

Orders

You can pick up the order and complete it at the sign right next to Pierre’s General Store entrance. To complete an order, you must retrieve and deliver a specific item to a villager. Orders might not be available daily, but it’s good to watch for them as they pop up, since you can earn a ticket for doing so.

Special Quests

Special quests are similar to orders because they will be tasks given by fellow villagers. However, they usually require more than just delivery. Instead, you could be chopping down trees, collecting a certain amount of stone, or crafting a particular item. You can accept one of these quests at the quest board just below Lewis’ house. You can also earn tickets as a reward for completing them.

Festivals

The last method of collecting prize tickets is participating in events and festivals. Specific festivals or repeated festivals can offer you tickets as a reward. You’ll want to look out for these festivals: the Maze during Spirit’s Eve, the repeated Egg Festival, and the Festival of Ice.

How to Get Rewards from the Prize Machine

Once you have your prize tickets, head back to Mayor Lewis’ house and interact with the Prize Machine.

You can insert your ticket and redeem a reward by pressing the big red button in the prize machine menu. You will only be able to redeem the prizes in order, meaning if you want a specific item, you’ll have to get all the items in front of it first. Thankfully, each item is only required on the ticket.
